Biography.

A journey about transforming social issues into visual language.

Maximilian Wrede, 30 years old, working & living in Wiesbaden, Germany. He understands himself as part of a new generation of artists. Dynamic, colorful and unusual. His style is a mixture of abstract color gradients and diverse structures that invites the viewer to pause and think about their own relation to the work.

In addition to his works on canvas, Maximilian Wrede also devoted himself to photography and its fusion with applied colors, painting on paper, and the design of sculptures.

An artist who sees himself as an autodidact, because his dream of studying fine arts after graduating from high school was not to be fulfilled due to various influencing factors. So the artist initially took a completely different path and devoted himself to his studies at the University of Internal Security & Public Administration secondary to art, his passion, even if it was always there. In retrospect, however, this path seems to have been the right one. This is precisely why the artist Maximilian Wrede can fall back on a wealth of experience at a young age and can better classify many problems in the social context.

Especially in the context of his studies and his work, he understood that certain things might be even better in the form of visual language than in written or spoken word.

The work on his creative process got more intensively over the years and every day for several hours thoughts were visualized in different ways. In this way, the artist creates a visual language that is intended to reconsider the viewers own perspective on a topic.
